The Regional Sales Representative plays a vital role in supporting these efforts by building relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and maximizing sales potential across the territory.
Key Responsibilities
Remote position: candidates must reside within the Southeastern Atlantic Region (North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, or surrounding states).
Travel frequently, including regular overnight trips within the territory as well as occasional travel outside territory for events, shows, and special needs.
Maintain, foster, and grow relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
Demonstrate knowledge of the automotive aftermarket, including but not limited to performance products and truck accessories.
Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills in all industry interactions.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands and deadlines.
Manage the territory efficiently by optimizing time, resources, and account engagement.
Operate independently as a self-starter with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) for reporting, presentations, and daily communication.
Knowledge of CRM programs, especially ORGO, is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, marketing, or related field is a plus but not a requirement.
Minimum of one (1) year in outside sales or account management.
Experience selling to automotive aftermarket dealers, engine builders, powersports, marine, or similar dealer channels strongly preferred.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a field-based role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence owners, general managers, buyers, and parts & service managers.
Comfortable leading training sessions, line reviews, and ride-a-longs with distributor and vendor sales teams.
Self-motivated and able to manage a multi-state territory independently, including overnight travel.
Willingness to travel up to 70–75% within the assigned territory (dealer visits, distributor meetings, shows, and events).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic math skills.
Valid driver’s license required. Adequate means of transportation are needed.
